The Treasurer of CCCU is more than just a financial manager—they are a steward of the union’s resources, ensuring transparency, accountability, and wise financial decision-making. Entrusted with handling all monetary transactions, this role ensures that every donation, offering, and expenditure is recorded and used effectively to support CCCU’s mission. From preparing financial statements for auditing to keeping track of union assets, the Treasurer plays a critical role in ensuring CCCU operates with financial integrity.

Beyond managing accounts, the Treasurer also leads the Finance and Investment Committee, working with year fellowship treasurers to create budgets, oversee welfare funds, and explore financial sustainability for the union. This office also plays a key role in vetting loan applications, managing debt recovery, and ensuring members’ contributions are properly documented. More than just numbers, the Treasurer’s work empowers CCCU to thrive—funding missions, supporting outreach, and ensuring that financial resources align with the vision and needs of the union.
