Secretariat

The Secretary of CCCU is the heartbeat of communication and coordination within the union. This role ensures that every announcement, record, and official correspondence flows seamlessly, keeping the fellowship informed and organized. From issuing notices and keeping minutes of key meetings to handling official communication with external bodies like J.C.C and FOCUS RSEC, the Secretary acts as the bridge between leadership, members, and partners. With a sharp eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility, they preserve the union’s history, ensuring that every decision and milestone is documented for future generations.

But beyond documentation, the Secretary plays a critical role in shaping the next generation of CCCU members through the First Year Transition (FYT) Program – “Anza FYT.” This program is more than just an orientation—it’s a spiritual, academic, and social guide for freshmen, helping them navigate campus life while staying rooted in faith. By leading an Orientation Committee, the Secretary ensures that new students are welcomed, discipled, and integrated into the CCCU family. From guiding first-years through challenges like peer pressure and academic expectations to offering mentorship and evangelism opportunities, this office is key to ensuring that CCCU remains a home for every believer stepping into campus life.
